What kind of event this is

Not an expo. No booths, no tickets. The whole day is organised around one question:When a Chinese family moves assets overseas, what do they need to solve at the same time, and in what order.

Most events cover only one piece—property events skip residency, residency events skip tax—and everyone goes home separately. The result is that clients discover the pieces conflict with each other: buying property first can affect the documentation logic of a residency application, while doing residency first can change the tax burden of ownership.

We put all five matters on the same day and the same table, arranged in the order a family actually decides. Each session runs about forty minutes, with question time after each; with so few people in the room, questions can be asked to the end.

The five sessions, and what each covers

Asset Management

Start with selection criteria: what the same budget buys in different countries, and how title, taxes, rental yield and exit options differ. The point is not to recommend a project, but to give you a method you can use on your own.

Residency

Whether residency or property comes first depends on the structure of your family. We cover route assessment, documentation logic and timelines, and which steps have to be redone if the order goes wrong.

Commercial Investment

Company incorporation, account opening, cross-border structures and annual compliance. Suited to business owners with cross-border operations, and to families holding assets through a company.

Education

How to assess schools and school districts, the rhythm of applications and interviews, and how to arrange guardians. Education is often the starting point of a family's cross-border decision, not an add-on.

Relocation & Settlement

Settling in, bank accounts, health insurance and long-term travel. The long list of things after buying the property is what truly decides whether you live there comfortably.

Roundtable & Dinner

Questions that could not be asked during the day are saved for the roundtable and dinner. With so few people, no question dies in the room.

Who attends

Business Owners & Manufacturing

Aged 40–55, main business in China, beginning to think about diversifying assets and residency.

New Economy Shareholders

Aged 30–44, with liquidity from equity exits that needs to be placed into tangible assets.

Cross-border Families

Children already abroad or about to go; property, residency and education need to be arranged together.

One edition has been held every year. The 2025 edition took place in London, with guests mostly being local property-buying and cross-border families.

How to be invited

There are 98 seats, and once full, it closes. There is no ticket channel.
